I grew up in Brookline, MA and stayed close to home for college at Harvard
where I studied evolutionary biology and ran cross country/track.
After graduation, I stayed in Boston for a year of research at the Harvard School of Public Health before heading off to NYC for medical school at Mount Sinai. I met my now husband on the first day of med school and we just recently got married in Boston. At Mount Sinai, I became very involved in the Growing Up Healthy in East Harlem project. However, I missed Boston and the Red Sox and am so incredibly excited to be moving back to Boston and joining the MGH community.

I was born in Orlando, Florida but I grew up in Monroe, Connecticut. For my undergraduate studies I went to the University of Connecticut and majored in Molecular and Cell Biology, and Nutrition. I decided to be adventurous and stay in CT to attend University of Connecticut School of Medicine. I am a diehard Husky fan!!! I joined the Army National Guard before medical school and was in Texas for the summer for officer training – it was a little warmer than CT. On the first day of medical school orientation I met my future wife/dentist, the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen (she’s watching me type this). I convinced her to marry me, and one week after our graduation all my dreams came true! I enjoy basketball, skiing, hiking and the outdoors in general. I look forward to moving to Boston and joining the MGH community.
However, consider this fair warning – I am a Yankees fan.
