Dr. Lisa Wong
Dr.
Lisa Wong, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, graduated magna cum
laude from Harvard University in 1979 with a degree in East
Asian Studies. She received her M.D. at New York University School
of Medicine in 1983, and returned to Boston for internship
and residency in Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Wong joined Milton Pediatrics in 1986. She serves as the
consulting physician for Milton Academy, a position previously held
by Dr. Jack Robinson.
Dr. Wong is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the
Suffolk District Medical Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Her hospital appointments include Massachusetts General Hospital,
Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of
Boston and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is
a clinical instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Wong plays piano, violin and viola, and is an ardent advocate
of the arts and supports music education for all children. She is
on the Board of Young Audiences of Massachusetts, and is involved
with the Preparatory School of the New England Conservatory of Music.
Since 1991, Dr. Wong has served as president of the Longwood Symphony
Orchestra, the Orchestra of Boston's Medical community, which supports
medical nonprofit organizations through benefit concerts performances.
Dr. Wong lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her two children,
Jennifer and Christopher, and husband Lynn Chang, all of whom are
also musicians.
