Dr. Katherine Jin
Dr.
Kate Jin joined the Milton Pediatrics practice in January, 2007.
Dr. Jin grew up in New Jersey, then attended Yale University, where
she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude.
After two years working in management consulting at the Boston Consulting
Group, Dr. Jin attended the University of California, San Francisco
School of Medicine, and received her MD in 2000. She then came back
to the east coast to complete her pediatric residency at Children's
Hospital Boston and Boston Medical Center, and subsequently served
as chief resident at Children's Hospital Boston. She is an instructor
at Harvard Medical School, and enjoys teaching residents and medical
students. Prior to joining Milton Pediatrics, she was an attending
physician on the inpatient pediatric units at Children’s Hospital
Boston. She is a recipient of the Sydney Farber Award and the Harvard
Medical Student Teaching Award.
Dr. Jin is licensed in Massachusetts, and is certified by the American
Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of
Pediatrics. Her hospital affiliations include Children’s Hospital
Boston, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s
Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
Dr. Jin lives with her husband, Paul, and her two children, Libby
and Charlie.
